1) Is it really your path?
Before starting a professional healing practice as your livelihood, it is important to consider whether it is truly your path, and not something you think you're "supposed" to do on the spiritual journey. Check your motivation. Are you pursuing it because of others? Is money your motivation? If so, you may be met with limited success.

2) Moving forward
If you feel a professional healing practice is truly your path, move forward with single focused energy. Be active every day, while always understanding that you are not the doer. Allow Source to work through you. Stay in the space of allowing, not grasping or forcing, with each action. Be relaxed and create a positive flow without concern about the outcome. Understand you are in service, give gratitude and offer every action up to Source to better serve humanity. If you are truly in service and gratitude, you will be guided.

3) Location
It's okay to work from home in the beginning. However, it's recommended to find a local space in a relatively popular area. If possible, use an information table outside in order to meet and speak to people who stop by. Appropriate expos and community events can also be helpful. Do not hide. As much as you can, step fully into your role in service at all times. This is an ongoing process that Sondra is just starting to fully allow after 12 years. So be gentle with yourself and patient along the way.

4) Communication
Be genuine! Speak in your own voice in a grounded way, meeting people where they are and seeing from their viewpoint. Using spiritual language can intimidate people who are reaching out for help, yet are unfamiliar with energy healing. Be positive and confident in a kind humble way. Be your true authentic self.

5) Advertising
Although you need to have a high vibrational web site for people to learn more about you and what you offer, you may find that new clients find you more often through word of mouth than paid advertising. Sondra has not used paid advertising thus far in her practice.

6) The exchange
Don't be apologetic when discussing the monetary exchange. You are invested in always becoming a clearer healing channel, and also have overhead and living expenses. Your energy also is expended through channeling the session itself. It is very important to replace this energy. If you don't, you will become depleted. The exchange is a fair way to honor this.

7) Cooperation
Rather than viewing your practice as a traditional competitive business, be in cooperation with other healing professionals. Refer clients to others as guided and allow others to refer clients to you. We are all here to serve. The more we can cooperate and support each other, the more help we can bring humanity.

8) You
Don't forget to also work on yourself. Your continued healing process is crucial in enabling you to remain strong, healthy and fully in integrity. In that way, you will in turn have more energy and resources to offer to others.
